A song to get you through if you’re going through it now
I love Imogen Heap. She’s got an amazing voice, a turn of phrase that makes the hair on my arms stand on end, and a comfort that has pulled me through breakup and breakdown.
So if you need a friend beside you this weekend, if you have come here because you know the next step is the hardest, and your whole life will change… then take this song and lyrics with you wherever you go, and I hope the melody will lift you to where you want to be.

drink up baby doll
Are you in or are you out?
Leave your things behind
‘Cause it’s all going off without you
Excuse me too busy you’re writing your tragedy
These mishaps
You bubble-wrap
When you’ve no idea what you’re like[Chorus:]
So, let go,let go
Jump in
Oh well, what you waiting for?
It’s all right
‘Cause there’s beauty in the breakdown
So, let go, l-let go
Just get in
Oh, it’s so amazing here
It’s all right
‘Cause there’s beauty in the breakdownIt gains the more it gives
And then it rises with the fall
So hand me that remote
Can’t you see that all that stuff’s a sideshow?
Such boundless pleasure
We’ve no time for later
Now you can’t await
your own arrival
you’ve twenty seconds to comply[Chorus:]
So, let go, so let go
Jump in
Oh well, what you waiting for?
It’s alright
‘Cause there’s beauty in the breakdown
So, let go, yeah let go
Just get in
Oh, it’s so amazing here
It’s all right
‘Cause there’s beauty in the breakdown[Background sounds]
[Chorus:]
So, let go, so let go
Jump in
Oh well, what you waiting for?
It’s alright
‘Cause there’s beauty in the breakdown
So, let go, yeah let go
Just get in
Oh, it’s so amazing here
It’s all right
‘Cause there’s beauty in the breakdownIn the breakdown
‘Cause there’s beauty in the breakdown
The breakdownSo amazing here
‘Cause there’s beauty in the breakdown

Have you seen the movie that video is pulled from? Course I can’t pull its name out of a hat right now, but it is a foreign film that has always looked interesting when I have read the back of it at the video store.
