Book Review: Single Mom Seeking by Rachel Sarah

I’ve been thinking for a week about what to say. I thought this would be another one of those cutsie, bang it out for a buck kind of ‘reality books’ that everyone and their grandmother seems to be writing these days. You know, Chicken Soup for the Single Mother’s Soul kind of pablum.

Nope.

Part confessional, part erotica, part laugh out loud funny, this book is not for the faint of heart. If you have a Puritannical, prudish streak, this book is not for you. If you disapprove strongly of people who Don’t Do It Your Way… you get the picture.

If you want to read a very honest, candid look at what searching for romance in the single mama meets digital age, this is an un-put-downable read.

And for the next week, I’ll be asking you to submit your dating stories to Solo Mother. I’ll announce a winner on the 10th, and he or she will get a copy of Single Mom Seeking of their very own.
