here’s a hard one: ten things you like about yourself

Maria over at Mme. Meow’s Daily Dose of Zen Sarcasm tagged me to write ten things I like about myself.

I’m having a hard time doing that, right now.

Ahem. In the interest of full disclosure, I think I have a hard time doing that any time. I’m rough on myself. I demand perfection and, since I demand perfection, I’m always falling short. And let’s face it. If you’re a newly single mother, facing the pressures of splitting with your significant other. raising a child with little or no help, having to find the resources to care for your kid, yadda yadda yadda… you might not be feeling so wonderful about yourself, either.

Do yourself the kindness of participating in this meme with me. Sit down in the sunshine with a nice cuppa and think about ten things you really like about yourself. Post them in your blogs and send me the link and I’ll put them up. I think it’s important that we women start treating ourselves well.

I’ll ponder my good qualities and put them up tomorrow.
