I was poking around the Net this morning and came across this gem, a blog article that describes the Section 8 process from a landlord’s point of view. If you are considering applying for government assistance with housing, this is a good read. It lets you peek into a landlord’s mind and see, just what are they after?

All of my threats to seek government assistance fizzled out, due to the great timing of finding the Dream Job. I know not everyone is as fortunate (some would say lucky) as I am. If you can’t afford to rent a home, look around for assistance. It’s out there. Just do yourself a favor and figure out a way to get the most education you can, so that you can move onto a path that provides for you and your children. It will give you an inner glow, a sense of pride and accomplishment.
