Love What You Do (Divine Comedy)
When I find myself falling into a funk, you can bet it’s because I haven’t been listening to enough music. My taste is eclectic, ranging from classical to jazz to New Wave to angry loud stuff… and all those other small bits in between. Music is my mood regulator, and when you’re a single mother, sometimes… you’re the savage beast that needs soothing, no?
Some days, the right music is all that you need to turn things around. Might I suggest a little something from one of the most understated poet/musicians in music today, the lovely Neil Hannon and his extraordinary gathering of musicians.
