Meals for four for under $15
I picked up a pamphlet from the local Whole Foods last week. Meals for four — Under $15. From the local posh organic market. That’s healthy dinners for less than $4 a head.
I immediately thought of you, dear single mothers.
There is a nice array of recipes, both vegetarian and carnitorious. I’m thinking I’ll have to try the goat cheese and bruschetta stuffed zucchini with chickpea salad sometime soon.
What is your favorite fast, inexpensive recipe?

I do a mean spinach vichisoisse for 4 to 6 people for slightly over one euro. The tip is to use frozen spinach.

OOH, Kate, that’s perfect. Did I ever give you my leek kitchen sink soup recipe?
