Shout out for submissions: positive, single mother stories
Here’s a chance to tell your story! I got this in my in box a few days ago and only just now found the time to publish it… apologies, Colleen Sell (editor of Cup of Comfort). Here’s what she sent me:
Single Moms: Let Your Voices Be Heard! The editor of the bestselling Cup of Comfort book series (Adams Media) seeks slice-of-life true stories that read like good fiction and that both move and entertain readers.
For publication in an anthology honoring single mothers—whose trials and triumphs too often go unrecognized. Stories can be humorous or poignant, or both, and must be uplifting and 1000-2000 words.
Deadline 3/20/07. $500 grand prize; $100 all other stories published. No entry fee.
