The King of Everything, who just survived his first sleepover. Here. He and his best friend are sacked out, in quite the civilized way. Tomorrow, his grandfather is cooking the boys pancakes. I am slipping into the office early and working late, sewing up the last of the gaps before I jet off to the Democratic National Convention.

Wow! I want an Ah Ring. It wouldn’t be the same as the engagement ring that I recently took off, but it would mean a lot more. Esp b/c I would be giving it to myself, as a promise to myself to take better care of me….that is in some alternate universe where I could afford this.
