throw away your brooms and mops, mamas!

by christina on March 16th, 2007

Remanufactured iRobot Scooba Floor Washing Robotic Hard Surface Cleaner, Assorted ColorsiRobot Roomba Intelligent Floorvac Robotic Vacuum, RedContrary to popular belief, the Roomba isn’t for cat torture. It’s actually a little floor sweeping (red) or floor mopping (white — Scooba) robot. Turn it on and it maps out your floor, the obstacles, and goes to town. As soon as I save enough money, I’m going to invest in one of these little guys. And I’ll get one for my parents, too. Cause admit it, don’t you have better things to do with your time than… vacuum?

It’s not made for cat torture, but it sure is fun to watch our cats when it’s running! Or maybe I’m just not getting out enough!

Lady, you ain’t kidding. They also make ones that are programmable, and the little guys go round on schedule, sweeping up your floors.

What I love best about them is they go plug themselves back in when they’re tired.

Gayle, I think YouTube is overrun with cat v. roomba videos. Some very funny stuff, though. Entertainment and housecleaning rolled into one!

Hey, Angel, I missed you around here. I wish you could have a roomba, too. I’m surprised they don’t make them for your neck of the woods. Everyone needs a roomba!

I have had a Roomba for about 4 years now and love it. My son who is now six started calling it his little brother. When he was smaller he used to play tag with it when it was running.
