  2. Satsuma: It’s impossible to be depressed when you smell this good.
  3. Everyday Minerals: Flawless, glowing skin, without the muss and fuss of ‘base face’ and so much less expensive than the other powder makeup folks!
  4. Let’s Dish: If you really, really can’t deal with dinner, get a little social, get a lot of dinner, and skip the clean up.
  5. DC Urban Mom (or your neighborhood equivalent)
  6. What About the Kids What About the Kids? Raising Your Children Before, During, and After Divorce: Practical, no holds-barred information about the mechanics of divorce, how to avoid the worst of it, how to make the best of it.
  7. Monster.com Monster.com Need job? Get job.
  8. College credit for life experience: Women with college degrees make more money than those without. Parlay your work experience into college credit and jump that much closer to your degree.

Having been there done that on the single mom scene, I’d say you have a great list going!

I’m a HUGE fan of Freecycle. I’m on the three surrounding counties boards in my area. What a brilliant idea that gal had!

Gayla, you said it. Most of my work clothes are Freecycle. I can’t wait to get an apartment for me and the boo, then I’ll be a Freecycle QUEEN!
