Thanks to Mme. Meow, who pointed me to this lovely site, Always Order Dessert. She’s been on a Myers lemon kick lately, and if you go here, you can vote for the ultimate winner of the Italian Rainbow Cookies the site is giving away.
I’m packing up the kitchen tonight. I can’t keep my eyes open, but I’m going to persevere until it’s as done as I can get it. Limitations are boxes and wrapping materials, don’tchaknow. I’m running low on both again, which is astounding to me.
When I move us into our new home, I’m going to dig into the delicious cookbook that appeared on my doorstep this evening: Cooking Light Complete Cookbook. I’m in love. The first recipe I flipped to? Rolled Baklava! I can’t wait to dig into this delightful four pounds of recipes. Let’s see how it stacks up to my beloved Joy of Cooking.
Oh, and just because I love her and we sat on her couch eating brownies and watching The Biggest Loser one very difficult winter, I’d like to say YAY! Fannfare is back, with a lovely new banner and a lot of interesting conversation going on. Missed you.
